PROTOCOL BASED COUNSELING, DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST (Part-time)
AIDS Arms, Inc. is seeking a part-time Protocol Based Counseling, Data Entry Specialist. The individual will perform alpha and numeric data entry of client data into a database. The data entry specialist will be responsible for collecting and maintaining client data files; and ensuring that all client demographic information, session notes, testing results, applicable consents, and referrals are entered accurately and in a timely manner into the database system. Requirements: Individual must have data entry experience and proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and internet based applications. Individual must be able to lift 25 pounds. ELIGIBILITY COORDINATOR
AIDS Arms, Inc. is seeking a full-time Eligibility Coordinator. The coordinator provides specified activities to assigned patient population under the direction of the Director of Clinic Administration and is committed to the provision of patient center/patient valued care. Gathers and verifies patient demographic, eligibility information, and insurance benefits to ensure that patient information is complete and accurate prior to the date of service. Primary responsibilities include provide general direction to patients regarding registration process, financial assistance programs, etc.; communicate to the patient the patient’s financial responsibilities and answers questions regarding the billing of services that the patient has received; complete all ADAP paperwork and submits to State for patient; reviews/updates the patient’s account to ensure that all required information is correct and complete in the AIDS Arms, Inc. system and information is available to perform pre-registration, and on an ongoing basis to ensure continued eligibility; reviews the patient’s account to determine if the patient is funded or not; maintains and prints departmental reports on a regular basis; corresponds with clinics and third party payers to coordinate patient appointments, referrals, required authorizations, pre-certifications or orders and to and verify insurance benefits; and works with biller/coder to ensure accurate entry into Clear Health that facilitates collection of payment for third-party payers and Ryan White. Other responsibilities include billings, collections, registration, eligibility determination, reconciliation, data entry, etc. for patient services. Requirements: Individual must have minimum of high school diploma. Must have experience in eligibility determination. Must have excellent customer service skills and high level of professionalism. PSYCHIATRIC CASE MANAGER
AIDS Arms, Inc. is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Case Manager. The case manager will function as a member of the Community and Client Services Division working closely with the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP). Individual will assist clients in accessing medical care, support and resources necessary to meet challenges living with HIV/AIDS, addressing the client’s mental health and substance abuse issues and working towards long term adherence to medical care and treatment plans. Case Manager will advocate, develop long term planning and utilize necessary resources for the client. Requirements: Individual must have Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling with appropriate current state licensure (LMSW or LPC). Must have two years experience in case management. Prefer case management experience related to HIV/AIDS and co-occurring mental health and substance abuse issues. Must demonstrate high level of professionalism. Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel. Bilingual in English/Spanish or American Sign Language is highly desirable.
