Other services available to our patients include free HIV testing, medical case management, HIV clinical trials and other research, HIV treatment assistance and adherence support, dermatology, psychiatric consults, nutritional counseling, women’s health, disability assessment and access to subspeciality medical care. Our onsite case management services support access and adherence to medical care with referrals to support services such as transportation, counseling and health insurance assistance.

Clinical Trials

AIDS Arms is actively engaged in multiple research projects and clinical trials for emerging medications. Funded through the National Institutes of Health AIDS Clinical Trials Group, in partnership with Northwestern University in Chicago, our clinical staff engages in a wide rage of research on behalf of people living with HIV and AIDS. In addition, we conduct several pharmaceutical or industry clinical trials for emerging medications throughout the year. Such research helps promote greater understanding of HIV within clinical care while also increasing access to new medications that could potentially make real differences in the lives of people living with the disease. If you are interested in participating in AIDS Arms’ clinical research efforts, please contact our Study Coordinator at (972) 807.7370 x4420

To become a patient of AIDS Arms’ medical services, an individual must contact our Client Intake Services at 214.521.5191 to complete intake and eligibility paperwork. Our medical care is based on a sliding fee scale and is free to low income individuals. We also accept Medicaid, Medicare and private health insurance.
